In the Van Doesburghuis in Meudon are monthly visitors welcomed. You need to reserve and than you can get a small guided tour in the house. When artists in residence are present, they often share something of their work.

I met the Franco-American clarinetist and composer Carol Robinson last March for the first time. Somehow it was strange our paths never crossed, since we both have our focus on interpretating contemporary music, improvising and playing a lot of bass clarinet. We decided this occasion is a wonderful first musical meeting. Four small groups came on July 5 and we played four small improvised concerts in different combinations of the instrumentarium we brought. In the video a little fragment:

Next time we’ll meet is in a few days to speak about what we did in our musical live, what we like best and what we can do in the future together.
