Basklarinet Festijn, CD Free Space, workshop
In october there are three more concerts which belong to the Basklarinet Festijn with contemporary composed music. I’ll perform once more the trio of Jerôme Combier (FR) for 2 bass clarinets and cello, we’ll present pieces by the young composers Philip Przybylo (lives in Amsterdam) and Bianca Diana Popa (RO) for bass clarinets and in Pakhûs SOLO I’ll present three resently written soli. The soli I recorded last September and they will appear on a certain moment on CD, compositions by Aspasia Nasopoulou (GR/NL), Roberto Bonati (IT) and Tobias Klein (DE/NL). I am proud to have two former students as colleagues in these concerts and flanked by my partner on cello Katharina Gross.

Asko|Schönberg Ensemble Ophelia’s Next Appearence
New CD is coming of my project Free Space, the CD will be called ‘Open Space’ and the official release is early 2026 (Relative Pitch Records). I’ll receive physical CD’s already early November! I’ll have it with me with the concerts mentioned below. The music is improvised and inspired and structured by the iconic book Espèces d’espace by Georges Perec.
